We’re kicking this weekend off at melting point with SBTRKT’s Wildfire – with a video not unlike Carrie to-boot. SBTRKT (Aaron Jerome) has remixed songs by Radiohead, MIA and Goldie etc., and was part of the east London DJ scene before becoming no stranger to the heavy rotation on various radio stations. Unknown Mortal Orchestra with So Good At Being In Trouble lends itself nicely to the plink-plink-fizz of that first alka-seltzer the morning after. Quadron, otherwise known as Coco Maja Hastrup Karshøj and Robin Hannibal (full name Robin Braun), are a electro-soul combo from Denmark and Slippin is a fab ear worm. Polica’s Dark Star will help you get your saturday scrambled eggs on the table.
