Two japesters; John Baur (aka “Ol’ Chumbucket“) and Mark Summers (“Cap’n Slappy“) invented the ITLAP day in 1995 after one them shrieked AAAARR! after hurting himself during a game of racquetball – the hilarity didn’t stop there no sir. After establishing the date they then sent a letter to the American syndicated humour columnist – Dave Barry, and the parody’s since gone viral. So getting in the spirit of things, here aaaarr two shots at redemption: Nelson Riddle – Love Song from the film Mutiny on the Bounty and Mekons with (Sometimes I Feel Like) Fletcher Christian.
